A 3 day course aimed at electrical, mechanical and management personnel that have little or no experience of PLC systems.

The course is tutor driven and employs generic PLC simulation software which allows the principles of PLC systems to be understood without the complexity of the manufacturers' interface software.
The courses are undertaken within our modern computerised training suite, allowing one PC per person. The course fee includes comprehensive course notes, a certificate of attendance, refreshments and a buffet lunch.
Course Content
Day One
- What is a PLC?
- Principle of operation and construction concepts.
- Programme structure and techniques.
- Generic programme exercises.
Day Two
- Introduction of control techniques, timers and counters.
- Programming exercises using simulation hardware.
- Documentation and testing of programmes.
Day Three
- Introduction to physical PLC hardware.
- Overview of conventional systems.
- Fault finding techniques.
