Course Cost

A 1 day course aimed at plant operatives, caretakers and un-skilled employees that have no previous awareness of electricity in the workplace, and although not expected to carry out electrical duties, must have a basic awareness of electrical safety.
An introductory level course that introduces many safety issues to the 'un-enlightened' employee, creating an awareness to basic issues that can help prevent electrical incidents and reduce operational downtime.
This will assist companies in establishing and evaluating the level of competence attained by each candidate, and help plan further training requirements.
The course fee includes comprehensive course notes, a certificate of attendance, refreshments and a buffet lunch.
Course Content
- What is electricity?
- Employee responsibilities.
- How electricity is used and controlled.
- How electrical incidents occur.
- Basic first aid principles (relating to electrical causes).
- Safe isolation.
- Prevention of electrical incidents.
- Self assessment questions.
