The City & Guilds 2377 course has recently been re-written in line with the latest IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (3rd Edition). The new course incorporates large amounts of hands-on practical tuition. It also prepares candidates for the City & Guilds 2377-002 examination (undertaken during the course) and if desired City & Guilds 2377-001 examination at an extra cost.
NEW City & Guilds 2377 - Two Day Course (£260+VAT)
A two day course focusing on the requirements of the formal Inspection, Testing and Recording of Electrical Equipment (Portable Appliance Testing). The course has recently been re-written in line with the latest IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (3rd Edition).

- The legal requirement, purpose and frequency of Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
- The main inspection and testing requirements prescribed in the IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
- Equipment, construction and definition.
- Approved testing procedures with 'Portable Appliance Testers'.
- Establishing maintenance charts, registers and recording of results.
- Introduction to test instruments.
- Equipment inspection and practical testing.
- Test result analysis.
